(16)\n20-1524-S9\nHOUSING AND HOMELESSNESS AND BUDGET AND FINANCE\nCOMMITTEES’ REPORT relative to a cash flow loan for Quarter 2\nfunding requested by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority\n(LAHSA).\nRecommendations for Council action, as initiated by Motion (Raman Yaroslavsky):\n1. INSTRUCT the City Administrative Officer (CAO) to identify a\nnon-reserve fund for a cash flow loan for the initial Quarter 2\nfunding as requested by the LAHSA in the amount of\n$9,620,151; and, report to Council within 30 days.\n2. INSTRUCT the Los Angeles Housing Department, in\ncoordination with the Chief Legislative Analyst (CLA), CAO, and\nthe City Attorney, to determine the agreement in which funding\nmay be included within and outline the process for cash flow\nloan and reimbursement.\n3. INSTRUCT the CAO to request the County of Los Angeles to\ncover the full Quarter 3 loan amount.\nFiscal Impact Statement: Neither the CAO nor the CLA has completed\na financial analysis of this report.
