(3)\n25-1065\nENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the\nSecond Amendment to an Agreement for Professional Services and\nTraining for Tripwire Proprietary Software with Tripwire, Inc.\nRecommendations for Council action:\n1. APPROVE the Department of Water and Power (DWP) Board\nResolution authorizing the DWP to execute a Second\nAmendment to Agreement No. 47622 with Tripwire, Inc.,\nextending the current term by five years, from September 25,\n2025 through September 24, 2030, for a total contract term of\n10 years, and increasing the contract authority by $603,000,\nfrom $697,000 to $1,300,000 to support ongoing professional\nservices and training for Tripwire, Inc. software.\n2. AUTHORIZE and DIRECT, upon proper certification, the Chief\nAccounting Employee to draw demands on the Power Revenue\nFund over the term of the Amendment to the Agreement and\naccompanying Resolution.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The City Administrative Officer reports that\napproval of the Second Amendment to Agreement No. 47622 with\nTripwire will have no General Fund impact. Approval of the Board\nResolution and contract amendment will increase the not to exceed\ncontract authority by $603,000, from $697,000 to $1,300,000. Funding\nis available and budgeted in the Power Revenue Fund. The above\nrecommendations comply with the DWP adopted Financial Policies.
