E.2.\nPROGRESS UPDATES AND MATERIAL SELECTION FOR THE HART\nPARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CIP 55-23) [J. ROCCO, S.\nCAMPBELL, R. ABRAMSON, M. BARKER, H. COLLINS, P. TICUN]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will receive an update on the material\nselection for the Hart Park Improvement Project Off-Leash Dog Play Area\nand review Park-related recommendations from the Hart Park Ad-Hoc\nSubcommittee.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Review recommendations from the Hart Park\nAd-Hoc Subcommittee including the material selection for the Off-Leash\nDog Play Area and direct Staff to proceed with an engineered wood fiber\n(EWF) system; 2) Formally recognize the off-leash dog play area as a\npermanent amenity in Hart Park; and 3) Direct Staff to return to the City\nCouncil upon completion of the construction documents and bidding with a\nrecommendation regarding awarding a contract for construction.
