HEILMAN]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider a request to sponsor a\ncommunity event featuring author Cindy Handler discussing her book, A\nGerman Jew’s Triumph: Fritz Oppenheimer and the Denazification of\nGermany, on November 20, 2025 in the Community Meeting Room at\nWest Hollywood Park.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the sponsorship of a community\nevent featuring author Cindy Handler discussing her book, A German\nJew’s Triumph: Fritz Oppenheimer and the Denazification of Germany on\nNovember 20, 2025, in the Community Meeting Room at West Hollywood\nPark; 2) Approve the waiver of parking fees at the 5-story parking lot for\nattendees of the event (estimated $450 in waived fees); and 3) Direct the\nCommunications Department to utilize all appropriate communication tools\nto promote the event, including, but not limited to, the City’s website and\nsocial media tools.
