F.2.\nCO-SPONSORSHIP OF C.I.T.Y. x1 YOUTH GROUP’S HOLIDAY\nEVENTS [C. BYERS]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider a request to co-sponsor the\nC.I.T.Y. x1 Youth Group’s “Big Feast” pre-Thanksgiving dinner events in\nNovember 2025, and their holiday dinner event on Sunday, December 7,\n2025, at Plummer Park’s Great Hall.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a Co-sponsorship Agreement with\nC.I.T.Y. x1 Youth Group for the “Big Feast” pre-Thanksgiving dinners in\nNovember 2025, and holiday dinner event on Sunday, December 7, 2025,\nat Plummer Park’s Great Hall; 2) Authorize the Director of Finance and\nTechnology Services to allocate $4,000 from Fiscal Year 2025-26 funds in\nthe Special Council Programs account number 100-1-01-00-531001 for\ncosts associated with the event; 3) Authorize the City Manager or his\ndesignee to execute documents incident to the Co-Sponsorship\nAgreement between the City and the C.I.T.Y. x1 Youth Group; 4) Waive\nany Facility Use Fees, Special Event Permit Fees, Encroachment Permit\nFees, and the 3-hour parking limit at the Plummer Park parking lot for\nevent participants (estimated $1,674); 5) Authorize the use of the City\nname and logo on invitations, programs, and other collateral materials;\nand 6) Direct the Communications Department to utilize all appropriate\ncommunications tools to promote the events such as the City’s website\nand social media tools.
