B.11. AUTHORIZATION TO NEGOTIATE FOR PUBLIC / PRIVATE\nPARTNERSHIP FOR CURBSIDE EV CHARGING STATION PROGRAM\n[H. COLLINS, P. TICUN]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing staff to negotiate a\nPublic-Private Partnership Agreement with IKE Smart City, LLC for the\ndeployment, operation, and maintenance of curbside electric vehicle\ncharging stations and interactive kiosks throughout West Hollywood, and\nthe final agreement will be brought back to the City Council for approval\nonce negotiations are complete. Additionally, the City Council will consider\ndirecting staff to retain consulting services to analyze revenue projection\nfor the deployment, operation, and maintenance of a curbside electric\nvehicle charging station network and interactive kiosks throughout West\nHollywood at an estimated cost of $55,000.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to negotiate a Public-Private\nPartnership Agreement with IKE Smart City, LLC for the deployment,\noperation, and maintenance of curbside electric vehicle charging stations\nand interactive kiosks throughout West Hollywood and return to Council\nfor final approval of the Agreement; and 2) Authorize staff to retain a\nconsultant to conduct an analysis on revenue projection for the\ndeployment, operation, and maintenance of a curbside electric vehicle\ncharging station network and interactive kiosks throughout West\nHollywood at an estimated cost of $55,000.
