9)\nCONSIDERATION OF EXTENSION OF GO WEST COVINA MICROTRANSIT PROGRAM\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1. Provide staff direction relative to a preferred transit option;\n2. Authorize the Acting City Manager to negotiate and execute an amendment to the Transit\nas-a-Service (TaaS) Service Order with Nomad Transit, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary\nof Via Transportation, Inc., to provide the preferred service through June 2027, in such\nfinal form as approved by the City Attorney; and\n3. Adopt a resolution to approve a budget amendment based on the option selected:\na. If the City Council selects Option 1 to keep the current service model, adopt the\nfollowing resolution (Attachment No. 5):\nRESOLUTION NO. 2025-78 – A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A BUDGET AMENDMENT\nFOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2025 AND ENDING JUNE 30,\n2026 (GO WEST COVINA)\nb. If the City Council selects Option 2 to expand the service Citywide, adopt the following\nresolution (Attachment No. 6):\nRESOLUTION NO. 2025-78 – A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A BUDGET AMENDMENT\nFOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2025 AND ENDING JUNE 30,\n2026 (GO WEST COVINA)\nc.
