7.\nAward Construction Contract for the\nConstruction Order Nos. 7167 and 7177\nannual\nStreet\nImprovement\nProjects,\nRecommended Action:\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Award a construction contract for the annual Street Improvement Projects\n(Construction Order Nos. 7167 and 7177) to the lowest responsive/responsible\nbidder, Onyx Paving Company, Inc. for the total bid amount of $3,760,919;\n2) Approve a 10% contingency in the amount of $376,092 for a total\nnot-to-exceed contract amount of $4,137,011;\n3) Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the contract and any\ndocuments related thereto.
