Authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with CXT\nIncorporated in the amount of $158,936 for restroom fabrication and\ninstallation services related to the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park Restroom\nInstallation Project, and authorize a ten percent contingency of $15,894, for\na total authorized amount of $174,830;\nB. Authorize acceptance of $148,236 from the Friends of the Claremont Hills\nWilderness Park to partially fund the project; and\nC. Find that this item is exempt from environmental review under the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).\nCXT Vault Restroom Brochure\nAUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH ATLAS CIVIL DESIGN FOR\nDESIGN AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS\nTO THE WEST SIDE OF CLAREMONT BOULEVARD BETWEEN NINTH STREET AND\nFOOTHILL BOULEVARD (FUNDING SOURCES: PROPOSITION A AND PROPOSITION C\nFUNDS)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends the City Council:\nA. Authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Atlas Civil\nDesign for design and preparation of plans and specifications for\nimprovements to the west side of Claremont Boulevard between Ninth Street\nand Foothill Boulevard, in the amount of $99,500, and authorize a project\ncontingency of $9,950 for a total authorized amount of $109,450; and\nB. Appropriate $10,000 from the Proposition A Fund and $99,450 from the\nProposition C Fund for a total of $109,450 to fund the agreement.
