(18)\n25-0915\nBUDGET AND FINANCE and ARTS, PARKS, LIBRARIES, AND\nCOMMUNITY ENRICHMENT COMMITTEES’ REPORT relative to a\ngrant award from the Teiger Foundation for a forthcoming survey of\nartist Nao Bustamante’s work at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery.\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL\nOF THE MAYOR:\n1. AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Department of Cultural\nAffairs, or designee, to:\na. Submit all necessary paperwork of the Curatorial\nResearch Grant application to the Teiger Foundation.\nb. Accept a grant award on behalf of the City from the Teiger\nFoundation in the amount of $50,000.\nc. Negotiate and execute the Grant Authorization Letter on\nbehalf of the City, and submit the required expenditure\nreport relative to the program aspects of the grant.\nd. Receive and expend the Teiger Foundation grant funds for\nactivities for all eligible purposes.\ne. Prepare any Controller’s instructions needed to implement\nactions approved by the Council and Mayor on matters\npresented in, or deriving from, the transmittal, and/or to\nmake necessary technical adjustments; and, further,\nrequest the Controller implement these instructions.\n2. AUTHORIZE the Controller to:\na. Establish a new appropriation account within Fund No.\n337, Cultural Affairs Grants, to be labeled “Teiger\nFoundation LAMAG”.\nb. Appropriate $50,000 received from the Teiger Foundation\ninto the newly established account within Fund No. 337.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The Department of Cultural Affairs reports\nthat there is no impact to the General Fund.
