7.\nLANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR LMD ZONE T51 (VALENCIA\nHIGH SCHOOL) AND ZONE 16 (VALENCIA INDUSTRIAL CENTER) - City\nCouncil consideration to award a contract to Stay Green, Inc., to provide recurring\nlandscape maintenance services for Landscape Maintenance District Zone T51 (Valencia\nHigh School) and Landscape Maintenance District Zone 16 (Valencia Industrial Center).\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Award a five-year contract to Stay Green, Inc., to provide landscape maintenance\nservices for Landscape Maintenance District Zone T51 (Valencia High School) and\nZone 16 (Valencia Industrial Center), for a total contract amount not to exceed\n$1,655,074.\n2. Appropriate a one-time budget increase in Fiscal Year 2025-26 from the Landscape\nMaintenance District Fund Balance (Fund 357) to expenditure account 3572437516110 in the amount of $66,846.\n3. Appropriate an ongoing budget increase, beginning in Fiscal Year 2026-27, from the\nLandscape Maintenance District Fund Balance (Fund 357) to expenditure account\n3572437-516110 in the amount of $96,633, contingent upon the appropriation of\nfunds by the City Council in the annual budget for each fiscal year.\n4. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all contracts and associated\ndocuments, subject to City Attorney approval.\n5. Find that the award of contract is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct pursuant to Article 19 – Categorical Exemptions, Section 15301, Existing\nFacilities, (h) Maintenance of Existing Landscaping.
