6. Notice of Completion for Slurry Seal FY 2024-25 Project, Plan No. 1392\nRecommended Action for the City Council:\n— 1. Approve Change Orders No. 1 - 3 totaling $91,693.75;\n— 2. Accept the completion of Citywide Slurry Seal FY 2024-25 Project, Plan No. 1392 by Doug Martin\nContracting Company, Inc.;\n— 3. Approve the final contract amount of $401,635.75;\n— 4. Authorize the Mayor or his designee to sign and file the Notice of Completion with the County of Los\nAngeles Registrar-Recorder;\n— 5. Authorize the Public Works Director to release the project retention 35 days after the recordation of the\nNotice of Completion;\n— 6. Authorize the release of the Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of $309,942, six months\nafter recordation of Notice of Completion, if no claims have been received; and\n— 7. Authorize the release of the Faithful Performance Bond one (1) year following recordation of Notice of\nCompletion if the improvements remain free from defects in materials and workmanship.
