8.\nApproval of Agreement with Peregrine Technologies, Inc., using Opioid Settlement Funds\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the recommended use of opioid settlement funds for this purchase;\n2. Authorize the Chief of Police or designee to execute a sole source agreement with Peregrine\nTechnologies, Inc. for a two-year term from December 15, 2025, through December 14, 2027;\n3. Authorize the Director of Finance to appropriate funds from the City's Opioid Settlement\nFunds, account number 270-30-340-53379-17520, in the amount of $126,200 ($63,100\nannually for two years); and\n4. Direct staff to implement the accountability measures outlined in this report to ensure\ncompliance with opioid settlement requirements.
