12. CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TWO NEW EMPLOYEE\nCLASSIFICATIONS, JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND SALARY RANGES; APPROVING\nTHE RECLASSIFICATION OF EXISTING POSITIONS; APPROVING A RESOLUTION\nALLOCATING FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE PERSONNEL REQUESTS; AND\nAPPROVING A CITYWIDE SALARY SCHEDULE SUPERSEDING RESOLUTION NO.\n7934 EXHIBIT A SALARY SCHEDULE\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider adoption of the proposed Resolution to:\n1. Approve and establish the job classification and salary range for the Public Works\nSupervisor (two positions);\n2. Approve and establish the job classification and salary range for the Assistant\nLibrary Director;\n3. Approve the reclassification of two vacant Maintenance Worker positions to two\nLead Maintenance Works positions in the Public Works Department;\n4. Eliminate a Part-Time Management Aide under Senior Services and merging those\nresponsibilities with a vacant Part-Time Community Services Coordinator to one\nFull-Time Community Services Coordinator in the Community Services Department;\n5. Consolidate two Part-Time Management Aides to one Full-Time Management Aide\nunder the Recreation Division in the Community Services Department;\n6. Approve the allocation of funds from the vacant Facility and Parks Supervisor to the\nPublic Works Supervisor;\n7. Approve the allocation of funds from the vacant Library Manager position to the\nAssistant Library Director;\n8. Adding one Part-Time Administrative Assistant to the Library Department;\n9. Approve an amendment to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-2026 Adopted Budget to\nappropriate $197,499 in salary and benefits in the General Fund (Fund 101),\n$28,667 in salary and benefits in the Water Fund (Fund 500), $26,175 in salary and\nbenefits in the Sewer Fund (Fund 210), and $19,008 in salary and benefits in the\nState Gas Tax Fund (Fund 230);\n10. Approve an amended/corrected citywide salary schedule to supersede Resolution\nNo. 7934 Exhibit A with an effective date of September 8, 2025.
