CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF THE PURCHASE OF CARBON MEDIA FROM\nCALGON CARBON CORPORATION FOR THE WILSON WELLHEAD TREATMENT\nSYSTEM FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $500,000\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Authorize the purchase and replacement of carbon media through a single source\nprocurement with Calgon Carbon Corporation (Calgon) for a total not-to-exceed\namount of $500,000 for the Wilson Reservoir Wellhead Treatment System, which\nincludes material, freight and field services, and any analysis, and acceptance\ntesting required by a landfill related to disposal; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the purchase order and related\ndocuments.
