17. CONSIDERATION OF SELECTION OF KIMLEY-HORN, FOR CIVIL DESIGN\nENGINEERING SERVICES RELATED TO THE HUNTINGTON DRIVE AND FREMONT\nAVENUE CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AND APPROVAL OF A\nPROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED\nAMOUNT OF $2,440,161\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the selection of Kimley-Horn to provide civil engineering design services\nrelated to the Huntington Drive and Fremont Avenue Corridor Improvements\nProject;\n2. Approve a professional services agreement and authorize the City Manager to\nexecute the agreement, in the final form approved by the City Attorney, for said\nservices in an amount not-to-exceed $2,440,161 ($2,218,328 + 10% contingency).\n3. Appropriate $323,000 into the Huntington Drive and Fremont Avenue Corridor\nImprovement Project budget from Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
