5.\n2024 Homeland Security Program Subrecipient Agreement & Appropriation of Funds. The\nCity of La Verne was awarded $84,550 in grant funding through the County of Los Angeles from\nthe State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) for the Police and Fire Departments. The grant\nrequires an agreement between the County and City before costs will be reimbursed.\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to\nexecute the standard Subrecipient Agreement and all related documents between the County of\nLos Angeles and the City of La Verne, and amend the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Adopted Budget by\n$84,550 to reflect the grant award.
