3.A.13.Accept the FY23-24 California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control\nsponsored by the Office of Traffic Safety Grant Program through the National\nHighway Traffic Safety ABC-OTS Grant Program Funding in the Amount of\n$40,000; Adopt Resolution No. 2024-016, Authorizing the Riverside County\nSheriff and Other Authorized Agents to Accept Funding for the ABC-OTS Grant\nProgram from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, to\nExecute the ABC-OTS Grant Documents and Administer the ABC-OTS Grant,\nfor the communities in the Southwest Corridor of the County; District 1, 2 & 3.\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Accept the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control's\nABC-OTS Grant Program from the State of California, in the amount of\n$40,000 for the grant period of October 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026;\n2. Adopt Resolution No. 4105, Authorizing the Riverside County Sheriff and\nOther Authorized Agents to Accept Funding for the Department of Alcoholic\nBeverage Control ABC-OTS Grant Program, to Execute the ABC-OTS Grant\nDocuments and Administer the ABC-OTS Grant;\n3. Authorize the Sheriff, or designee, to execute the Standard Agreement, to take\nall necessary steps to implement the Standard Agreement, including, but not\nlimited to: (a) signing subsequent necessary and relevant documents, subject\nto approval as to form by County Counsel; and (b) negotiating, signing and\nimplementing any amendments, including, but not limited to any amendments\nthat result in an extension of the term or an increase in the amount of the\naward, not to exceed twenty percent (20%) of the total anticipated grant\namount, subject to approval as to form by County Counsel.\nDepartment:\nPolice
