H. RESOLUTION NO. 25-45 APPROVING A REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY\nSTREET CLOSURE ON THE 800 BLOCK OF COMMERCIAL AVENUE\nThe Public Works Department has received a request from Jason De La Torre,\nowner of the property at 864 Commercial Avenue, seeking approval for a\ntemporary street closure to host a block party in celebration of Ogopogo\nBrewing’s (Ogopogo) 7th Anniversary. The event is scheduled to take place on\nSaturday, November 8, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., along the 800 block\nof Commercial Avenue. Ogopogo has held multiple street closure events in the\npast, and the City has not encountered any significant adverse impacts resulting\nfrom those prior activities. There is no fiscal impact to the City’s budget\nassociated with this event, as it will be managed using regularly-scheduled staff\ntime.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 25-45,\nauthorizing a temporary street closure on the 800 block of Commercial Avenue,\nfrom South Gladys Avenue to the end of the cul-de-sac, on Saturday, November\n8, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.\n6
