14. PLANNING COMMISSION – NOTICE OF UPCOMING VACANCY (ONE SEAT, DECEMBER\n31, 2025)\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Direct the City Clerk to publicly announce the opening on the Planning Commission and to\napprove the application submission timelines specified in the Staff Report;\n2. And designate two Council members to participate in an Ad HOC committee, which will have\nthe specific and temporary duty of selecting commissioners to fill the one (1) vacant position.\n3. The City Council may provide alternative direction as desired.
