AUTHORIZATION FOR COUNCIL MEMBERS TO ATTEND UPCOMING MEETINGS\nAND EVENTS\nPursuant to the City of Stanton Travel and Reimbursement policy, a Council Member\nmust receive City Council approval prior to a trip if the trip will exceed $500. Council will\nconsider the following requests for travel:\n•\nCouncil Member Victor Barrios\no Event: National League of Cities (NLC) 2026 Congressional City\nConference\no Location: Washington, DC\no Dates: March 16 - 18, 2026\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find that this item is not subject to California Environmental Quality Act\n(“CEQA”) pursuant to Sections 15378(b)(5)(Organizational or administrative activities\nof governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the\nenvironment); and\n2. Authorize Council Member Victor Barrios to attend the proposed conference as\ndesired and authorize staff to make a budget adjustment as needed to cover travel\ncosts.\nStanton City Council Agenda
