8.\nIntroduce Ordinances updating the California Building and Fire Codes entitled: “An\nOrdinance of the City of Chino Hills, Repealing Chapter 15.04 of Title 15 of the City of Chino\nHills Municipal Code and Establishing a New Chapter 15.04 of Title 15 Adopting by\nReference and Amending the 2025 Editions of the California Building Code Volumes 1 and\n2, 2025 California Plumbing Code, 2025 California Mechanical Code, 2025 California\nElectrical Code, 2025 California Residential Code, 2025 California Energy Code, and the\n2025 California Green Building Standards Code With Appendices and Amendments\nThereto; Amending Chapter 1.18 of Title 1 of the Chino Hills Municipal Code; Amending\nChapter 8.12 of Title 8 of the Chino Hills Municipal Code; and Amending Chapter 15.18 of\nTitle 15 of the Chino Hills Municipal Code” and “An Ordinance of the City of Chino Hills,\nAdopting by Reference and Amending the 2025 Edition of the California Fire Code and the\n2025 California Wildland-Urban Interface Code With Errata, the 2024 International Fire\nCode, and the 2024 International Wildland-Urban Interface Code Regulating and Governing\nthe Safeguarding of Life and Property From Fire and Explosion Hazards, Hazardous\nMaterials, and From Conditions Hazardous to Life or Property in the Occupancy of Buildings\nand Premises, Safeguarding of Life and Property From Wildfire Within Areas Designated as\nHigh or Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones, Providing for the Issuance of Permits and\nCollection of Fees, and Repealing and Replacing Chapter 8.16 of the Chino Hills Municipal\nCode in its Entirety” for first reading by titles only and waive further reading, and set public\nhearing for adoption of Ordinances for November 25, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
