13. RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE HIGH SPEED RAIL\nAUTHORITY (HSRA) TO INVESTIGATE AND REVIEW PROPOSED HIGH SPEED RAIL\nALIGNMENT\nPurpose: To allow the HSRA to reimburse the City for time spent reviewing\ntechnical/engineering plans, agreements, and researching property rights and utility\nconflicts. The total reimbursement amount to the City is $100,000.\nRecommended Action: 1) Resolution to approve an agreement with the High Speed Rail\nAuthority (HSRA) to review the proposed high speed rail alignment; 2) Authorize the City\nManager and City Attorney to make any necessary, non-monetary changes to the\nagreement; and, 3) Authorize the Director of Public Works to execute the agreement.
