5.\nCONSIDERATION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT FROM CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC\nSAFETY FOR THE "SELECTIVE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM" (STEP) 20252026, GRANT NUMBER PT26100 IN THE AMOUNT OF $95,000.00\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: 1) Approve and accept the Grant in the amount of $95,000.00 (for\nhourly wages at an overtime rate) from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) to conduct DUI\nSaturation Patrols to apprehend drunk drivers, traffic enforcement operations, warrant service operations,\ntraffic safety education and other related programs; and 2) Authorize staff to execute the Grant\nAgreement.
