E.1.\nREQUEST TO INSTALL A PLAQUE IN REMEMBRANCE OF THOSE\nDISAPPEARED BY ICE UNDER THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION [L.\nMEISTER]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing Staff to follow the\nCity’s Memorials, Tribute Trees, and Plaques Policy Guideline to review a\nrequest to install a plaque in remembrance of those disappeared by\nImmigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the Trump\nadministration.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to follow the procedure as outlined\nin the City’s Memorials, Tribute Trees and Plaques Policy Guideline to\nreview a request to install a plaque in remembrance of those disappeared\nby Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the Trump\nadministration; 2) Authorize the Director of Finance & Technology\nServices to allocate $1,030 from unallocated General Fund reserves to the\nSpecial Council Programs Account 100-1-01-00-531001 and increase the\nbudget for Special Council Programs by the same amount; and 3)\nAuthorize the Director of Finance & Technology Services to approve the\nuse of $5,000 from budgeted funds in the Special Council Programs\naccount number 100-1-01-00-531001 for costs associated with purchase\nand installation.
