F.2.\nCONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WITH ALFARO COMMUNICATIONS\nCONSTRUCTION, INC. TO CONSTRUCT CIP 2508, TRAFFIC SIGNAL\nIMPROVEMENTS AT FOUNTAIN AVENUE AND LA BREA AVENUE [H.\nCOLLINS, J. GILMOUR, R. GARLAND]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approval of a Construction\nAgreement with Alfaro Communications Construction, Inc. to construct\nCIP 2508, Traffic Signal Improvements at Fountain Avenue and La Brea\nAvenue.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a Construction Agreement with Alfaro\nCommunications Construction, Inc. in the amount of $559,611.09 for the\nconstruction of CIP 2508, Traffic Signal Improvements at Fountain Avenue\nand La Brea Avenue, and authorize the City Manager or designee to\nexecute documents incident to the Agreement; 2) Authorize the City\nEngineer to approve change orders to the Construction Agreement in an\namount not to exceed 25% ($139,902.77) of the Agreement amount; 3)\nAuthorize the Director of Finance & Technology Services to allocate\n$861,850 from unallocated reserves in the General Fund to account\nnumber 100-4-08-84-704017 for construction of CIP 2508, Traffic Signal\nImprovements at Fountain Avenue and La Brea Avenue and related costs;\nand 4) Adopt Resolution No. 25-________: “A RESOLUTION OF THE\nCITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD APPROVING\nTHE DESIGN AND PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CIP 2508,\nTRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS AT FOUNTAIN AVENUE AND LA\nBREA AVENUE, PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION\n830.6.”
