F.5.\nCO-SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT WITH EMERALD VILLAGE WEST\nHOLLYWOOD FOR A CANNABIS-FOCUSED SYMPOSIUM AND\nSCREENING [D. HANG]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving a Co-Sponsorship\nAgreement with West Hollywood Tourism Marketing Fund DBA Emerald\nVillage West Hollywood for a Cannabis-Focused Symposium and\nScreening, taking place on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the City’s\nCouncil Chambers.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a Co-Sponsorship Agreement with\nWest Hollywood Tourism Marketing Fund DBA Emerald Village West\nHollywood for a Cannabis-Focused Symposium and Screening, taking\nplace on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the City’s Council Chambers; 2)\nAuthorize the City Manager or his designee to execute documents incident\nto the Co-Sponsorship Agreement between the City and the West\nHollywood Tourism Marketing Fund DBA Emerald Village West\nHollywood; 3) Waive the Facility Use Fee for the use of the West\nHollywood City Council Chambers ($390); 4) Waive parking at the 5-story\nparking structure for an estimated 100 attendees ($1,028); 5) Authorize\nthe use of the City name and logo on invitations, programs, and other\ncollateral materials for this event; and 6) Direct the Communications\nDepartment to utilize all appropriate communication tools to promote the\nevents including, but not limited to, the City’s website, a press release,\nand social media tools.
