F.7.\nCO-SPONSORSHIP OF CALIFORNIA LGBTQ CHAMBER OF\nCOMMERCE’S LGBTQ PROCUREMENT SUMMIT [J. ERICKSON]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider co-sponsoring California\nLGBTQ Chamber of Commerce’s LGBTQ Procurement Summit, taking\nplace on Wednesday, January 28, through Thursday, January 29, 2026 at\nPlummer Park’s Fiesta Hall.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the co-sponsorship of California\nLGBTQ Chamber of Commerce’s LGBTQ Procurement Summit at Fiesta\nHall on Wednesday, January 28 through January 29, 2026 at Plummer\nPark’s Fiesta Hall; 2) Authorize the City Manager or his designee to\nexecute documents incident to the co-sponsorship agreement between\nthe City and the California LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce; 3) Authorize\nthe Director of Finance and Technology Services to allocate $10,000 from\nunallocated General Fund reserves to the Special Council Programs\nAccount 100-1-01-00-531001 for costs associated with the event and\nincrease the budget for Special Council Programs by the same amount; 4)\nAuthorize the Director of Finance and Technology Services to allocate up\nto $10,000 from Fiscal Year 2026 funds in the Special Council Programs\naccount number 100-1-01-00-531001 for costs associated with the event;\n5) Approve the use of Fiesta Hall at Plummer Park, waive any Facility Use\nFees, Encroachment Permit Fees, and the 3-hour parking limit at the\nPlummer Park parking lot for event participants, and any other ancillary\nCity permits that may be required for the event (estimated $2,508); 6)\nAuthorize the use of the City name and logo on invitations, programs, and\nother collateral materials for this event; and 7) Direct the Communications\nDepartment to utilize all appropriate communication tools to promote the\nCalifornia LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce’s LGBTQ Procurement Summit,\nincluding, but not limited to, the City’s website, a press release, and social\nmedia tools.
