F.8.\nINCREASE TO ENHANCED SERVICES PROGRAM: BIOHAZARD\nSANITATION CLEANING [D. HANG, J. ERICKSON]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing staff to develop a sixmonth pilot program to increase the City’s Enhanced Services Program to\ninclude biohazard sanitation cleaning services on private property.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a six-month pilot program to increase\nthe City’s Enhanced Services Program to include biohazard sanitation\ncleaning services in doorways, alleys, and areas directly adjacent to\nprivate properties; 2) Near the end of the six-month pilot program, staff will\nreturn to Council with an evaluation of the program, including stakeholder\nfeedback; 3) Authorize the Director of Finance & Technology Services to\nallocate $35,000 from unallocated General Fund reserves to the Special\nCouncil Programs Account 100-1-01-00-531001 and increase the budget\nfor Special Council Programs by the same amount; and 4) Authorize the\nDirector of Finance & Technology Services to approve the use of $35,000\nfrom budgeted funds in the Special Council Programs account number\n100-1-01-00-531001 for costs associated with the pilot program.
