B.10. INCREASE IN PROJECT CONTINGENCY FOR THE CITY’S\nCONTRACT WITH BALI CONSTRUCTION FOR THE RULE 20B\nOVERHEAD TO UNDERGROUND CONVERSION LA PEER DRIVE &\nALMONT DRIVE, CIP 2204 [H. COLLINS, J. GILMOUR]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider increasing the project\ncontingency for the Rule 20B Overhead to Underground Conversion La\nPeer Drive & Almont Drive, CIP 2204, by 5% ($178,611.80) to account for\nchanges in the construction Agreement due to unforeseen conditions, for\na total not to exceed contingency amount of 25% ($ 893,059.00).\nRECOMMENDATION: Authorize a $178,611.80 increase in the\ncontingency amount for Construction Services with Bali Construction, for a\nnew not to exceed contingency amount of $893,059.00 and authorize the\nCity Engineer to approve change orders to the agreement for services.
