Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with Mandeville Modular for the\nNavigation Center’s Modular Units Extending the Contract Term Date Through\nDecember 31, 2026, and Increasing the Not­To­Exceed Amount by $224,406.14;\nApprove Change Order No. 2; and Authorize an Additional Allocation of $214,420 in\nProject Contingencies (Ward 1) p. 213\nRecommendation:\nIt is recommended that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Bernardino,\nCalifornia,\n1. Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Design Services and\nPurchase and Delivery of Goods with Mandeville Modular extending the term of the\nOriginal Agreement through December 31, 2026, and increasing the not­to­ exceed\namount by $224,406.14 for a new total contract amount not to exceed\n$10,317,433.14; and\n2. Approve Change Order No. 2 with Mandeville Modular in the amount of\n$1,239,668 for structural steel cost increases; and\n3. Authorize additional project contingencies in the amount of $214,420,\nincreasing the total project budget for the modular units to $10,531,853.14; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to expend the contingency fund, if\nnecessary, to complete the project.
