14. Award of Agreement for Construction of Rudy Hernandez Community Center Gym\nFlooring Replacement with McWil Sports Surfaces in the amount of $256,800.60\n(Ward 1) p. 506\nRecommendation:\nIt is recommended that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Bernardino,\nCalifornia, adopt Resolution No. 2025­388; and\n1. Approve the termination of the Agreement with HUR Flooring Corp. in the\namount of $185,578.00 for the Rudy Hernandez Community Center Gym\nFlooring Replacement Project (“Project”); and\n2. Approve the award of an Agreement with McWil Sports Surfaces in the\namount of $256,800.60 for the Project; and\n3. Authorize project construction, construction contingencies, construction\nmanagement, and administrative costs in the total amount of\n$321,001.00 for the Project; and\n4. Authorize the Director of Finance and Management Services to amend\nthe FY 2025/26 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget by allocating\nan additional $96,001.00 from available Cultural Development Funds,\nincreasing the total project budget from $225,000 (comprised of\n$177,952 in Grant Funds and $47,048 in General Fund) to $321,001.00;\nand\n5. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all documents with\nMcWil Sports Surfaces; and\n6. Authorize the City Manager or designee to expend the contingency fund,\nif necessary, to complete the project.
