11I.\nCONSIDERATION OF AUTHORIZING AN EXEMPTION TO THE FORMAL\nSOLICITATION PROCESS FOR THE PURCHASE OF PARTS TO REPAIR\nTHE AERATION BLOWERS AT THE WATER RECLAMATION PLANT, AND\nFINDING THE PROJECT CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT FROM THE\nCALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT\nStaff Recommendation\nAdopt Resolution No. 25-173 which will:\n1. Find the project categorically exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) under Class 2 (Replacement or Reconstruction, 14\nCCR Section 15302) of the State CEQA Guidelines.\n2. Authorize the exemption to the Formal Solicitation Process based on\nSection XI.A.1.7 and Section XI.A.1.7.d of City Policy 201-2-1 and the\nsole source justification letter.\n3. Approve the expenditure for Aerzen Blower components for Fiscal Year\n2026-27 for a total amount not to exceed $184,000.
