11H. \nCONTRACT AWARD - AUTOMATED LICENSE PLATE RECOGNITION\nSERVICES AND AUTHORIZING AN EXEMPTION TO THE FORMAL\nSOLICITATION PROCESS\nStaff Recommendation\nAdopt Resolution No. 25-172 which will:\n1. Authorize an exemption to the formal solicitation process for a three-year\nagreement with Flock Group, Inc., DBA Flock Safety for automated\nlicense plate recognition (ALPR) services for an amount not to exceed\n$371,400.\n2. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. C2557, by and between the City of San Clemente and Flock Group, Inc., DBA\nFlock Safety, providing for automated license plate recognition (ALPR)\nservices, in an amount not to exceed $371,400, and to approve\nsuccessive annual renewal terms in the exercise of his discretion.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to approve a 19% project contingency in the\nexercise of his discretion.
