Declaring Real Property Owned by the City as Exempt Surplus Property that is no\nLonger Necessary for the City’s Use; Authorization to Proceed with the Sale of the Property,\nand Finding that this Action Exempt from the Provisions of CEQA\nStaff Recommendation:\nThat the City Council:\n1.\nAdopt Resolution CC 2025-114, declaring City-owned real property at the southwest\ncorner of Grand Avenue and Hurst Avenue (APN #8429-004-900) as surplus and\nfinding that it is exempt from the Surplus Land Act;\n2.\nAuthorize the City Attorney to make minor revisions, if necessary, to the Resolution\nprior to submittal to the California Department of Housing and Community\nDevelopment;\n3.\nFind that this action is exempt from the provisions of CEQA; and\n4.\nAuthorize the City Manager, or designee to initiate an appraisal and advertisement of\nthe real property for sale.\nNEW BUSINESS
