4. An Amendment to the Victorville Municipal Code with an environmental exemption,\nrepealing and amending various chapters and sections of Title 8 (Fire) of the\nVictorville Municipal Code to adopt the 2025 edition of the California Fire Code as\nmandated by the State of California\nRecommendation:\nThat the Honorable City Council:\n(1) Open and conduct a Public Hearing;\n(2) Close the Public Hearing;\n(3) Find the adoption of Ordinance No. 2460 exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15061(b)\n(3);\n(4) Introduce Ordinance No. 2460 for first reading by title only;\n(5) Waive further reading in full of proposed Ordinance No. 2460; and\n(6) Set a second Public Hearing for December 2, 2025, to consider adoption and\npassage of Ordinance 2460 and direct the City Clerk to publish notice in\naccordance with Government Code Section 50022.3\nCONSENT CALENDAR
