(20)\n25-1082\nCD 15\nPUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to declaring the\nproperty located at 228 North Gaffey Street a public nuisance as the\nresult of the presence of excessive trash and debris, storage of junk,\nand dangerous structures/conditions.\nRecommendation for Council\n(McOsker – Blumenfield):\naction,\npursuant\nto\nResolution\nRESOLVE, pursuant to Section 7.35.2(c) of the Los Angeles\nAdministrative Code (LAAC), to:\na. Declare the property located at 228 North Gaffey Street (APN\n7448031028) a Public Nuisance as the result of excessive trash\nand\ndebris,\nstorage\nof\njunk,\nand\ndangerous\nstructures/conditions.\nb. Direct the Board of Public Works (BPW) to expedite the\nissuances of appropriate notices and documentation that may\nbe necessary to effectuate the abatement of the nuisance at\n228 North Gaffey Street.\nc. Direct the BPW, or its designees, to proceed with the abatement\nprocess, as may be necessary, and, pursuant to Section 7.35.3\nof the LAAC, invoice the property owner for all and any\nabatement costs incurred by the City.\nFiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor\nthe Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this\nreport.
