(26)\n25-1191\nTRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to authorizing a\ncontract with Syncromatics Corp., dba GMV Syncromatics, for design,\nprocurement, implementation, support, integration, and maintenance\nservices for new and existing transit technologies.\nRecommendation for Council action:\nAUTHORIZE the General Manager, Los Angeles Department of\nTransportation (LADOT), or designee, to execute a three-year\ncontract, with two one-year options to extend, for a total of five years,\nwith Syncromatics Corp., dba GMV Syncromatics, for design,\nprocurement, implementation, support, integration, and maintenance\nservices for new and existing transit technologies within LADOT’s\nTransit Services vehicles and systems, subject to City Attorney review\nand approval as to form, and total compensation not to exceed\n$43,144,545 for the entire term of the contract, subject to availability\nof funds.\nFiscal Impact Statement: The City Administrative Officer (CAO)\nreports that funding for these services has been set aside in the\nProposition A Local Transit Assistance Fund 2025- 26 Adopted\nBudget. Funding for subsequent years of the agreement is subject to\nMayor and Council approval, the availability of funds, and will be\nappropriated through the City annual budget development process.\nThe City financial obligation is limited to the extent of appropriations\napproved by the Council and Mayor. The recommendation in this\nreport complies with the City Financial Policies in that budgeted funds\nare available for this purpose. There is no impact to the General\nFund.\nFinancial Policies Statement: The CAO also reports that the action\nrecommended in this report complies with the City Financial Policies\nin that the City’s financial obligation is limited to available cash\nbalances in the current budget year.
