(38)\n25-1288\nCD 14\nMOTION (JURADO - PADILLA) relative to the acceptance of grant\nfunds from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation\nAuthority (Metro) for the 6th Street Viaduct Park, Arts, and River\nConnectivity (PARC) Street and Transit Improvements Project.\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL\nOF THE MAYOR:\n1. AUTHORIZE the Bureau of Engineering (BOE), to accept and\ndeposit $2,000,000 in grant funds from the Metro into the\nEngineering Special Services Fund No. 682/50, and appropriate\na like amount therein to a new account entitled “Sixth Street\nViaduct - Park, Arts, and River Connectivity (PARC)\nImprovement Project - Street and Transit Improvements” for the\nconstruction of the 6th Street PARC Street and Transit\nImprovements.\n2. AUTHORIZE the BOE, with the assistance from the City\nAdministrative Officer and Department of Public Works, Office\nof Accounting, to utilize Municipal Improvement Corporation of\nLos Angeles (MICLA) Fund No. 298/50, Account No. 50CPKM\n[Sixth Street Park, Arts, and River Connectivity (PARC)\nImprovement Project], approved in the 2025-26 Adopted\nBudget, to front-fund grant-funded work for an amount up to\n$2,000,000.\n3. AUTHORIZE the BOE to make any corrections, clarifications or\nrevisions to the above fund transfer instructions, including any\nnew instructions, in order to effectuate the intent of this Motion,\nand including any corrections and changes to fund or account\nnumbers; said corrections / clarifications / changes may be\nmade orally, electronically, or by any other means.\nItems Called Special\nMotions for Posting and Referral\nCouncil Members' Requests for Excuse from Attendance at Council Meetings\nClosed Session
