8.\nREVIEW THE GRANTS RECEIVED FROM THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF\nTRAFFIC SAFETY IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $89,450 AND CONSIDER\nADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. R25-37 AUTHORIZING AN ADDITIONAL\n$89,450 ALLOCATED TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR TRAFFIC\nSAFETY OPERATIONS AS SPECIFIED IN THE GRANTS\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the\ncreation of dedicated budget accounts within the Police Department to\nmanage the Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) grant funds, and adopt\nResolution 25-37 to appropriate $89,450 in grant revenue for\nenforcement, education, and community engagement activities as\noutlined in the grant agreements.\nStaff Report\nAttachment A\nAttachment B\nAttachment C
