B.10. APPROVAL OF A CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WITH FS\nCONTRACTORS, INC. TO CONSTRUCT CIP 2602, CONCRETE\nREPAIR PROGRAM PHASE XV – CDBG PROJECT NO. 602747-25\nAND ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION 25-_____: “A RESOLUTION OF\nTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD\nAPPROVING THE DESIGN AND PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION\nOF CIP 2602, CONCRETE REPAIR PROGRAM PHASE XV – CDBG\nPROJECT NO. 602747-25, PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE\nSECTION 830.6.” [H. COLLINS, J. GILMOUR, J. RICO]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving a Construction\nAgreement with FS Contractors, Inc. to construct CIP No. 2602, Concrete\nRepair Program Phase XV – CDBG Project No. 602747-25. This project is\ncategorically exempt from CEQA.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a Construction Agreement with FS\nContractors, Inc. in the amount of $165,354.00 for the construction of CIP\nNo. 2602, Concrete Repair Program Phase XV – CDBG Project No.\n602747-25, and authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the\ndocuments incident to the Agreement; 2) Authorize the City Engineer to\napprove change orders to the Construction Agreement in the amount not\nto exceed 25% ($41,338.50) of the total Agreement amount; 3) Adopt\nResolution No. 25-________: “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL\nOF THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD APPROVING THE DESIGN AND\nPLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CIP 2602, CONCRETE REPAIR\nPROGRAM PHASE XV – CDBG PROJECT NO. 602747-25, PURSUANT\nTO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 830.6.”; and 4) Make a finding that\npursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA – Public Resources Code, Section 21084 et. Seq.), CIP No. 2602,\nConcrete Repair Program Phase XV – CDBG Project No. 602747-25,\nmeets the requirements for a categorical exemption in compliance with\nArticle 19, Section 15301, (Class 1 – Existing Facilities).
