Amendment #1 to the Agreement with Universal Awning & Canopy for Public\nWorks Fleet Maintenance Facility Improvements.\nEnvironmental\nConsiderations: The action being considered by the City Council is exempt\nfrom the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) because it is not a\n"project" under Section 15378(b)(5) of CEQA Guidelines. The action involves\nan organizational or administrative activity of government that will not result in\nthe direct or indirect physical change in the environment. Contact Person:\nEnvironmental Services Manager Steenblock\nRecommended Action: 1) Authorize the City Manager to execute\nAmendment # 1 to the agreement with Universal Awning & Canopy for Public\nWorks Fleet Maintenance Facility Improvements, in substantial form, in\nconjunction with the City Attorney, increasing the agreement not-to-exceed\namount of $93,200 by $39,774, for a total not-to exceed amount of $132,974,\nwith a 10% contingency of $13,298; and 2) Adopt Resolution 2025-112 titled,\n"A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Encinitas, California, Amending\nthe Fiscal Year 2025-26 Budget" to appropriate $39,774 to the Public Works\nFacility Improvements Project (CF16D).\n2025-11-19 Item 08H Amendment #1 (Universal Awning & Canopy)
