10. Second Reading and Adoption of Two Ordinances Amending El Segundo\nMunicipal Code Title 13 (Building Regulations) to Adopt by Reference,\nwith Certain Local Amendments, all Relevant Parts of the 2025 California\nBuilding Standards Code, the 2024 International Property Maintenance\nCode and 2024 Swimming Pool and Spa Codes, and the 2025 California\nFire Code (CFC).\nRecommendation -\n1. Conduct a public hearing to consider two ordinances to amend El\nSegundo Municipal Code Title 13 to adopt by reference, with certain\nlocal amendments, chapters 1 through 11, 19 and 23 of the El Segundo\nMunicipal Code and Adopting the 2025 Title 24 California Code of\nRegulations, the 2025 California Building Standards Code and 2024\nInternational Property Maintenance Code and Swimming Pool and Spa\nCodes, and the 2025 Fire Code.\n2. Adopt both resolutions justifying the local amendments to the Building\nand Fire Code ordinances.\n3. Waive second reading and adopt the ordinance and find that is exempt\nfrom further environmental review under 14 Cal. Code Regs. §§\n5308,15061(b)(3) and 5060(c)(2).\n4. Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
