B.8.\nAMENDMENTS TO THE AGREEMENTS FOR THE PROVISION OF\nADMINISTRATIVE HEARING OFFICER SERVICES [C. SAFRIET, G.\nAVILES, R. VINALON]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider Amendments to the Agreements\nfor Services for hearing officer services related to Rent Stabilization\nhearings, compliance determinations, and appeals.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement\nfor Services for hearing officer services with Alan Seltzer to increase the\namount of the Agreement by $255,000 for a total not-to-exceed amount of\n$300,000; and 2) Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for\nServices for hearing officer services with Civica Law Group, APC to\nincrease the amount of the Agreement by $250,000 for a total not-to-\nexceed amount of $300,000 and extend the agreement by twenty-four\nmonths from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2028.
