5. Annual Sidewalk Improvement Project (CIP No. 50080) – Award of\nConstruction Contract. (500)\nRecommendation:\n1. Accept bid numbers 1 through 4 and deem bid numbers 5 through 9 as non-\nresponsive, as shown in the bid summary table;\n2. Award a construction contract for a not-to-exceed amount of $213,390 to\nAddison-Miller, Inc. for the Annual Sidewalk Improvement Project, CIP No.\n50080; and authorize the City Manager to execute the Contract in a form\napproved by the City Attorney;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to approve change orders, as needed, in an\namount not-to-exceed $42,000, (approximately 20% of the total contract\namount) for construction contingency; and\n4. Approve the Notice of Exemption (NOE) for the subject project and authorize\nthe City Clerk to file the NOE with the County Recorder, in accordance with\nthe California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).\nAgreement No. ________
