The project has been completed and is now ready for\nacceptance by the City Council (PW)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING\nTHE LYNWOOD\nURBAN BIKE\nTRAIL LIGHTING\nPROJECT CIP\nNo. 2350|2351|9056.68.149 AS COMPLETE; AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF THE NOTICE\nOF COMPLETION WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY RECORDER’S OFFICE AND\nTHE RELEASE OF THE 5% RETENTION 35 DAYS AFTER THE ACCEPTANCE.”\nComments:\nStaff is requesting that the City Council approve a second amendment to the professional\nservices agreement with Conservation Corps of Long Beach to perform cleanup services\nthrough June 30, 2026. (CM)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council of the City of Lynwood approve a resolution\napproving the Second Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with the\nConservation Corps of Long Beach (CCLB) to -\n1. Extend the term of the agreement through June 30, 2026; and\n2. Appropriate $75,000 to fund cleanup services under the amended agreement.
