(32)\n25-1266\nCD 7\nCATEGORICAL EXEMPTION and PLANNING AND LAND USE\nMANAGEMENT COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the inclusion of\nHardin House, located at 10224 - 10226 North Marcus Avenue, in the\nlist of Historic-Cultural Monuments.\nRecommendations for Council action:\n1. DETERMINE that the proposed designation is\ncategorically exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Article 19, Section 15308,\nClass 8 and Article 19, Section 15331, Class 31 of the\nState CEQA Guidelines.\n2. DETERMINE that the subject property conforms with the\ndefinition of a Monument pursuant to Section 22.171.7 of\nthe Los Angeles Administrative Code.\n3. ADOPT the FINDINGS of the Cultural Heritage\nCommission (CHC) as the Findings of Council.\n4. APPROVE the recommendations of the CHC relative to\nthe inclusion of Hardin House, located at 10224 - 10226\nNorth Marcus Avenue, in the list of Historic-Cultural\nMonuments.\nApplicant: Marsha Perloff, Little Landers Historical Society\nOwners: Dene A. Heming; and Darla Parker (Et. Al.)\nCase No. CHC-2025-4171-HCM\nEnvironmental No. ENV-2025-4172-CE\nFiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the CHC. Neither the\nCity Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has\ncompleted a financial analysis of this report.
