4.\nAWARD CONTRACT: EARTHWORK AND SITE DEMOLITION SERVICES FOR THE\nPOPPY PARK PROJECT – F2M24-57, N2M25-98, C2M25-73, M2M25-173\nOn July 28, 2025, the City Council authorized the issuance of a Notice Inviting Bids for the\nconstruction of Poppy Park project. On October 23, 205, the City Clerk received seven\nbids for earthwork and site demolition services for the Poppy Park project ranging from\n$64,000 (Precision Environmental) to $165,632 (Elegant Construction Inc.). The bid\nreceived from Precision Works, Inc. DBA Precision Environmental is the lowest\nresponsible bid.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, between the City of Alhambra and\nPrecision Works, Inc. DBA Precision Environmental for earthwork and demolition services\nfor the Poppy Park Project in an amount not to exceed $64,000; and, direct staff to\nundertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
