(11)\n25-0683\nAD HOC COMMITTEE FOR LA RECOVERY REPORT relative\nto funding for the AECOM contract to provide as-needed project\nmanagement, engineering support and other expert consulting\nservices in response to the January 2025 Wind and Fire Storm event.\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL\nOF THE MAYOR:\n1. TRANSFER appropriations in the amount of $8 million from the\nUnappropriated Balance (UB) Fund No. 100/58, Account No.\n580196, Reserve for Mid-Year Adjustments, to Bureau of\nEngineering (BOE) Fund No. 100/78, Account No. 003040,\nContractual Services.\n2. AUTHORIZE the BOE to pay AECOM up to the initial $5 million\nfor work and services performed, with the first three report\ndeliverables to be provided within 30 days, or sooner, to the\nextent feasible to Council; and, that approval of further payment\nfor work on long-term recovery will be subject to the review and\napproval of the Ad Hoc Committee for LA Recovery.\n3. AUTHORIZE the City Administrative Officer (CAO) to make\ntechnical corrections to these instructions as necessary to\nimplement Mayor and Council instructions.\n(Budget and Finance Committee report to be submitted in\nCouncil.
