(11)\n25-0683\nAD HOC COMMITTEE FOR LA RECOVERY REPORT relative\nto funding for the AECOM contract to provide as-needed project\nmanagement, engineering support and other expert consulting\nservices in response to the January 2025 Wind and Fire Storm event.\nRecommendations for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL\nOF THE MAYOR:\n1. TRANSFER appropriations in the amount of $8 million from the\nUnappropriated Balance (UB) Fund No. 100/58, Account No.\n580196, Reserve for Mid-Year Adjustments, to Bureau of\nEngineering (BOE) Fund No. 100/78, Account No. 003040,\nContractual Services.\n2. AUTHORIZE the BOE to pay AECOM up to the initial $5 million\nfor work and services performed, with the first three report\ndeliverables to be provided within 30 days, or sooner, to the\nextent feasible to Council; and, that approval of further payment\nfor work on long-term recovery will be subject to the review and\napproval of the Ad Hoc Committee for LA Recovery.\n3. AUTHORIZE the City Administrative Officer (CAO) to make\ntechnical corrections to these instructions as necessary to\nimplement Mayor and Council instructions.\n(Budget and Finance Committee report to be submitted in\nCouncil. If public hearing is not held in Committee, an\nopportunity for public comment will be provided.)\n(Please visit www.lacouncilfile.com for background documents.)\nFiscal Impact Statement: The CAO reports that there is no additional\nimpact on the General Fund as the UB funds are budgeted to address\nunanticipated need through the fiscal year.\nFinancial Policies Statement: The CAO reports that the\nrecommendations in the report comply with the City’s Financial\nPolicies as one-time funds have been identified and are\nrecommended for a one-time purpose.
