5.\nAUTHORIZE RFP: CONTRACT MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION SERVICES FOR\nTHE SEWER LIFT STATION NO. 5 REPLACEMENT PROJECT – F2M25-57, RFP2M25-\n24\nThe Sewer System Rehabilitation Plan completed in March 2009 identified Sewer Lift\nStation No. 5, located at 913 Clay Court east of Granada Avenue and north of Mission\nRoad, in need of complete replacement. On October 27, 2025, the City Council approved\ndistribution of a Notice Inviting Bids for the Sewer Lift Station No. 5 Replacement Project.\nStaff is requesting approval of the distribution of Requests for Proposals for Construction\nManagement and Inspection Services for the Sewer Lift Station No. 5 Replacement\nProject. The construction management and inspections firm shall be responsible as\nconstruction manager and inspector to ensure the work is in accordance with the contract\ndocuments and applicable regulatory activities such as communication, monitor\nscheduling and budgeting, meetings, and other miscellaneous activities.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve the distribution of a Request for\nProposals for Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Sewer Lift Station\nNo. 5 Replacement Project with proposals due no later than 4:00 p.m. on December 30,\n2025; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
